Independent Modeling Independent modeling/acting means working as a freelancer, finding your own jobs, and keeping 100% of your earnings. Independent models and actors typically find work in the beginning by being proactive, consistent, and treating their craft like a business. They submit themselves to casting calls on reputable platforms, and build relationships within the creative community through networking and collaborations. Some of the reputable casting websites do charge a subscription fee, the reason why is you are an independent model who needs a platform to promote your business, they provide you a page on their website to do so. Here’s how Independent models/ actors find work- Casting Websites Many freelance and independent modeling opportunities are found through casting websites. Please note that casting websites are not agencies, but rather platforms that list available jobs.   client is very upset about being told to come to a free shoot and having to pay 3k for stuff he doesnt want. i explained to client how he recieved materials, he said he hasnt received anything to which i reminded client he recieved his images and talent guide today and he will receive his website and zcard in a few weeks. asked client about payment and he said he will see how this goes before he pays .
