Hi ?Christian,
?Since we have already had a conference call and gone over everything that is needed to start Kyrienne's career, i know you have upgraded to the Pro Package. I will need you to fill out the Agency Questionnaire so I can apply her to the agencies since you already have her cover letter & resume. You will still have to put together her profile on a casting website if you have not already done so.
Agency Questionnaire
In order for me to apply you to agencies effectively, I need a couple of things from you. As I will be assisting you in the application process, I want to be certain that I have your correct information.
As I do not have the measurements from the studio, you may visit any local tailor shop or dry cleaner and ask if they can take your measurements. You will also need to have them for yourself for the future.

Attn: Irving (Kyrienne Gfatter) received audition invite

to me
Hi Irving,
We hope you are doing well and had a great weekend.
Some updates, Kyrienne started her online Zoom classes with Marina Anderson that would last for 3 months. We'll be going to LA On May 14-17 for a Fashion Show with JC Penny, a show in collaboration with Sta. Clarita School of Performing Arts. On her 1st day of class this Saturday with Marina Anderson she has memorized 3-4 skits or short dialogues for commercials that she could use to an audition.
Just this friday (May 1) we received an audition invite thru Kids Casting from Wayne Shields, for New York (SPF) KIDS Swimwear Passion for Fashion Show. They reached sent us a message thru Kids Casting for the invite, they are the Plitzs Fashion Marketing. They sent us a couple of links for Zoom registration and forms to fill out. We registered for the Zoom link after information in the message below where it says about the orientation, because we wanted to know all about the audition. But the message they sent us and the Zoom link we received after registering was confusing, we thought the Zoom meeting or orientation is this Sunday May 3, as we received the instruction message on Friday May 1st that says meeting orientation this Sunday. When we clicked on the link for the meeting 5 minutes before the 12, it said waiting for Host to sign in. We waited as long as we could, as we thought maybe they are meeting people individually or something that it was taking them a long time. We gave up after an hour or waiting. Also it has some forms that they asked us to fill out that I am apprehensive with the questions being asked in the form. We are confused and apprehensive to move forward with this we need your expertise.
Thank you for your time Irving.
Regards,
Christian and Godi
Below is the message that they sent with the links.

Hi Christian & Godi,
I hope all is well with you.
This situation raises several concerns, and it’s reasonable to question whether it is legitimate. While organizations like Plitzs Fashion Marketing do exist and host fashion-related events, the way this opportunity is being presented does not fully align with a standard, professional casting process. The unclear communication, including the unattended Zoom orientation despite being labeled as “mandatory,” is a red flag, as legitimate castings are typically well-organized and responsive. The message also uses urgent and promotional language, emphasizes a “mandatory” meeting before any confirmed selection, and promotes prize packages, which are often indicators of showcase-style or pay-to-participate events rather than traditional castings. Additionally, being asked to complete forms that make you uncomfortable—especially if they request detailed personal information—should not be taken lightly. While this may not be an outright scam, it does appear to fall into a category that requires caution and further verification. It would be best to avoid submitting any sensitive information or completing forms until you can independently confirm the legitimacy of the opportunity and receive clear, direct answers about the process, expectations, and any potential costs involved.
Kind Regards,
Irving

Hi Irving,
I hope this email catch you at an opportune time.
We need you advise on what or how to do about our dilemma. As we have updated you last time and mentioned about Kyrienne's online audition last Saturday. We showed up on the audition which was scheduled at 1pm via Zoom. Kyrienne prepared and practiced for her Slate the day before and early in morning of the audtion, she was so excited and was looking forward to it. But unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances, Kyrienne started to have fever middle of the morning. She had 102-104°F temperature, I gave her medication, she fell asleep and I was hoping for the best for her to feel better by the time of the audition.
She woke up past 12noon, her fever has gone down, we tried to cheer her up and make her feel better. When Zoom started we informed the person doing the audition right away about Kyrienne's situation. But by the time audition started with about 4 other kids of different ages she was miserable again with a 101°F temperature, was complaining and wanted to lie down. I was busy trying my best to comfort her and keep her calm. We had no choice but let her lie down on the couch, the person did see her a bit and she wasn't feeling too good to respond much. The lady told Christian that she understand Kyrienne is not feeling really well, but she's so adorable and will have her team reschedule her and back to us. Unfortunately neither Christian nor I was able to catch her name and we haven't heard from them. Should we reach out today and how should we address them or how do we do about this? (<-not so sure with my english here, but I guess you know what I mean.) ????
We hope to hear from you and thank you so much for the time.
Kind Regards,
Godi and Christian

Hi Godiven,
I am so sorry to hear that Kyrienne was not well enough to do her audition, these are things that happen especially with children. So I have put together an email that you can send to get her rescheduled. Let me know what you think.
Here’s a polished, sincere, and professional email you can send—apologetic but confident and respectful of their time:
Dear [Agency Name] Team,
I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to sincerely apologize for my daughter’s inability to complete her audition as scheduled. Unfortunately, she became ill shortly before/during the audition, and we felt it was best to step away rather than proceed under those circumstances.
We truly appreciate the opportunity you extended to her and would be grateful for the chance to reschedule her audition if possible. She was very much looking forward to it and is excited about the opportunity to audition properly when she is feeling well.
Thank you so much for your understanding and consideration. We completely respect your time and appreciate any guidance on next steps.
Warm regards,
[Your Name]
Parent/Guardian of [Daughter’s Name]
Kind Regards,
Irving

Hi Irving,
We would appreciate the review or feedback on the ZCard we did on Canva, though apparently we also have the ZCard that Maps Studio sent us.
So sorry with the confusion, we will be using the one that Maps Studios gave us. We just need to edit or update some information on the Stats, and add links to her social media pages on the ZCard.
Thank you, appreciate your patience with us.
Best Regards,
Christian and Godi
Hi Godiven,
Perfect! Once you take care of that, just let me know—I’m putting together an updated cover letter and resume for Kyrienne, and I hope you love how it’s coming together. I’ve attached the current version at the bottom of this email for you to preview.
As soon as everything is finalized, I’ll send it right over. In the meantime, just reach out to production to make the updates on the Z-card, and you’ll be all set!
Kind regards,
Irving

Good Afternoon,
I hope this email finds you well.
The conference call will be a 30 minute phone call. Your mentor will be reaching out to you via phone on your scheduled date and time. No link for Google meet, Zoom, etc. is required for this meeting.
Below you will see the information on your first steps into the modeling industry. It will provide you all the necessary stepping stones and resources in order to prepare you for this journey and the conference call.
You must read this email thoroughly before the meeting so we can make the most of the call by answering questions and clarifying information. If you are unable to do so, we will have to reschedule the call to ensure you are getting the most out of it and we have a limited amount of reschedules allowed so please keep that in mind.
1. YOUR PROFESSIONAL WEBSITE: On the homepage of your website (http://fullname.modelingfolio.com),
Username: personal email address Password: a1234567 (all lowercase)
2. Z CARD: Download your Z Card to your computer from the email that our production team has sent to you. You will be using this with your cover letter, resume, and when you apply to agencies and casting calls.
3. WEB READY FOLDER: Download the Web Ready Folder to your computer from the WeTransfer link that our production team has sent to you through email. These images are already resized to be used online. You will need them to apply to agencies and/or to create profiles on casting websites.
To find these, you can search your email using the keyword “Production”.
4. COVER LETTER: Your cover letter will ONLY be ONE paragraph in your paragraph you're going to state why you would want to work with that company or why you would like to model. Moving forward into the paragraph you would state your talent, skills, or anything interesting about yourself you would want them to know.
5. RESUME OUTLINE: Be sure to create a resume to attach to applications. Please see resume and cover letter samples attached to the bottom of this email. Make sure to look at the templates/samples and edit it so it sounds more like you!
Go to canva.com and select a template. Here’s a beginner’s guide to Canva: https://www.canva.com/learn/how-to-canva-beginners-guideInsert the images of the front and back of your digital z-card jpeg. (You already downloaded this to your computer, just attach it) https://scribehow.com/shared/Adding_Z_Card_To_Resume_In_Canva__dsT9ALKUR4qRBAYEXgTsngType out your 1 paragraph cover letter on the same document.Add your modeling experiences (if you have any, if not, use filler information such as skills and hobbies) to the same document as the cover letter paragraph and z-card images. You can add experiences as you gain more.Be sure to format this document into a PDF form to attach to applications. If you choose to have your cover letter and resume information on 2 separate forms be sure to include a photo of yourself on the cover letter page. A child's resume doesn't need to include lots of experience. Keep in mind that you now have In-studio and On Location modeling experience with a creative team. Taking direction and posing. It was a very successful shoot and absolutely counts for modeling experience. Make a list of personality traits that are good for modeling. You can also add hobbies like singing, dancing, sports, theatre. Now that you have the tools to begin applying, it is time to learn about the different types of modeling!
6. INDEPENDENT MODELING: Independent modeling is when models work for themselves as freelancers and they are responsible for finding all their own jobs, but they get to keep all of the money earned.
You should take jobs that are a minimum of 2 hours in one day; maximum 8 hours, nothing more than 10. You can always discuss with the client/company the amount of time you will be working and split in a couple of days if necessary. As an independent model we suggest you charge $100 to $150 an hour for your modeling services. Always refer back to the job description to make this decision and price yourself wisely so you don’t miss any opportunities.
Make sure to check the information corresponding to your state regarding job permits and regulations on the Department of Labor webpage: https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/state/child-labor/entertainment New York: https://dol.ny.gov/hours-work-minors
New Jersey: https://www.nj.gov/state/njfilm/regulations.shtml
Georgia: https://dol.georgia.gov/employers/child-labor-and-minors-entertainment
Florida: https://www.dol.gov/general/topic/youthlaborTennessee: https://www.tn.gov/workforce/employees/labor-laws/labor-laws-redirect/child-labor.html
Boston: https://www.mass.gov/working-under-18
CASTING WEBSITES: These are not modeling agencies!Oftentimes models find freelance and independent opportunities through job search sites called, casting websites. These websites are reliable sources that will give you a list of jobs to look through and apply to.
Here are links to the casting websites that we would recommend: https://www.castingnetworks.com/https://castingfrontier.com/https://www.buildcasting.com/https://www.backstage.com/https://nowcastingkids.com/https://kidscasting.com/https://www.centralcasting.com/ga/ (New York/ Georgia/ Louisiana/ CA) (FREE)https://www.4starcasting.com/ (Chicago/ TX/ GA/ Maryland/ CA) (FREE)s://www.bostoncasting.com/# (Boston)
MODEL SEARCH: When you're looking for opportunities online make sure to use keywords so you can filter through all the information and get the results you want. Make sure to search in the three major cities around you so you can expand your search, and add the type of modeling you'd like to participate in.
For example: Search within the cities closest to home in order to make it easy to attend casting calls. Open auditions for kid/teenage models for catalogs in New York City or Boston or Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, or Houston
Open casting calls for kid/teenage models for fashion shows in New York City, or Boston or Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas or Houston
7. AGENCY REPRESENTATION: Models who sign with an agency are represented by that agency that will help the model find work through an agent. There will be a split commission structure between the model and the agency.
RECOMMENDED AGENCIES: Finally, here's a couple of agencies I recommend you start applying to. Make sure to follow up on your application by emailing them 2 to 3 weeks after you have applied. Recommended Agencies BOSTON:Andrew Wilson Agency https://andrewwilsonagency.com/ Maggie Inc https://www.maggieagency.com/New England Models Group https://www.nemg.com/
RECOMMENDED AGENCIES NEW YORK:Generation Model KIDS https://generationmm.com/Funny Face Today http://fftmodels.com/Exxcel https://www.exxcelmodel.com/home
These agencies were specifically picked out for you so go ahead and apply to these agencies! There are also additional agencies on the last page of the model guide.
APPLYING TO AGENCIES: Most agencies have their submission forms on their websites, search in the menu for links that say ‘Get Discovered’, ‘Apply’, ‘Become a Model’, etc. Make sure to read their instructions beforehand so you can have all the information they require plus the materials they want before you start applying. It shouldn't take you more than 5-10 minutes. Make sure to keep track of your applications. Make sure to always research the agency or client before applying and double check information before sharing your personal information with anyone.
These are the stepping stones to start your journey into modeling and on the call we will be discussing so many more important aspects of the modeling industry to further guide you.
Please have this email open in front of you before the conference call begins. The resume and cover letter samples are attached to the bottom of this email.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns and I look forward to speaking with you! Keep in mind we operate during normal business hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm est.
Kind Regards,Irving
