Pop-up markets — Austin & San Antonio

2026-08-18 → 2026-09-16 · 30 complete days · download every matching lead (CSV)

Austin and San Antonio are already inside the target list. Their ZIP prefixes (786/787 and 780/781/782) sit on the Houston and Dallas sheets of the supplier Zip codes TARGET LIST 16.7.2026, so we already buy these leads and already work them — the customer just has to drive 2h 35m / 2h 52m to reach a studio. A pop-up would not add volume. It would shorten the drive on volume we are already paying for. So the number that matters is what already flows, and what it converts at today — that is the baseline a pop-up has to beat.

What this actually says

What it costs Houston and Dallas

A pop-up does not create these leads — it takes them off the studios working them today. But it takes the worst-converting tail of both pools, so the hole in bookings is smaller than the hole in leads, and the replacement requirement is smaller again: to rebuild the lost bookings you only need enough leads at each studio's own kept rate, not one for one.

Read the last two columns together. 839 leads move out, but only 616 need buying back to hold bookings level — a 223-lead saving. Both studios' booking rates rise, because what they give up converts worse than what they keep.

What the pop-up has to beat

It inherits 842 fresh leads that book at 3.09% today — the rate these same people convert at when the studio is 2h 35m–2h 52m away. Every row below is the same 842 leads, converting better.

The break-even is not the pop-up's cost — it is the drive. If proximity moves these leads to merely the network average, the pop-up books 10 more shoots a month off leads you have already bought, while Houston and Dallas need 616 replacement leads to stay level. Nothing on this page prices the space, the crew or the travel — and 26 bookings a month at $50 deposits is not what would pay for it. What the shoots convert to in sales is the Square-side number this report cannot see.

How this is built. Leads are pulled live from the CRM for 2026-08-18 → 2026-09-16 (30 complete days; today is excluded because a part-day drags every rate down). Bookings are pulled 2026-08-18 → today so a lead that books after the window still counts — which means a window ending in the last fortnight will keep creeping upward. The lead → booking join is on name + marketing code, never name + date; 1,808 of 2,150 bookings matched (84.09%). Booking rates use fresh, zipped leads only — recycled codes were never bought, so including them would understate the rate, but they are shown separately because a pop-up would still have to shoot them. 52,224 lead rows were read in total. Drive times and list membership come from the supplier Zip codes TARGET LIST 16.7.2026 (zip_target_prefixes.json), the same source every OOA report uses. Row-level detail is in the CSV — never on this page.
